Overview
It is impossible to imagine travel and tourism without nature. Reports say that over 50% of all travel demand is driven by the desire to explore nature. Many sectors of the economy depend highly on biodiversity and the connection between travel and nature places it in a very unique position relying on the beauty and resources it provides. Sadly, we are witnessing unprecedented extinction rates and we are in need of a solution to stop the loss of nature and biodiversity. Our current position allows us to educate travellers to contribute by raising awareness and educating future generations.
Data for this report was gathered through a questionnaire to over 180 travel businesses.
