The European Health Management Association (EHMA) held its 27th annual conference in Brussels, Belgium for the first time in partnership with the Leuven Institute for Healthcare Policy of the KU Leuven. It brought together important healthcare stakeholders and presented the most recent research to direct the urgently required change of healthcare systems. It helped management and healthcare systems succeed at a time when the challenge ahead is extremely complex.
In the conference, “From people to systems: leadership for a sustainable future,” it was discussed how health managers may guide the development of sustainable health systems and the problems they face.
Maintaining a dialogue between policymakers, health managers, and professionals has been one of EHMA’s key areas of work, allowing for the improvement and modification of policy. Health managers and professionals had the chance to interact with decision-makers, express their opinions, and contribute to policymaking at the European level at the EHMA 2022 Annual Conference.
The EHMA Annual Conference gathers researchers from top institutions each year, providing a forum for the discussion of great healthcare delivery and the promotion of evidence-based methods at the national, systemic, and organizational levels. Leading specialists’ research on the most recent health management issues is presented at the abstract-only conference.
